Siam Station: First BL Thai-inspired café in Pampanga

Most people would be familiar with the word “Raikantopeni”. 

However, some who don’t know, probably haven’t seen a Thai BL series or Thai Lakorn(dramas). 

2021 was probably the year of the BL series where it’s becoming popular, especially the BL series from Thailand. 

If you’re living under a rock and there’s a chance you don’t know what BL means, it means “Boys Love”

BL series such as “2gether: The Series” starring Thailand’s Superstars Bright Vachirawit & Win Metawin became a hot trending and the most awaited series in the Philippines and outside Thailand.

The series was then followed by a sequel named “Still 2gether” and, a movie named “2gether: The Movie” because of its high demand and its popularity. 

Due to the rise of the Thai BL series, many are planning to go to the Land of Smile for vacation. However, because of the Global pandemic, they couldn’t make their plans because of travel restrictions.

If you’re a die-hard supporter of the BL series and want to experience the flavor of Thailand here in the Philippines.

You just must go to Pampanga for you to have a closer experience.

Introducing Siam Station, located in Angeles City, Pampanga was the first BL-themed café in the Philippines.

The inspiration of Han Nicdao, the owner of Siam Station started when she traveled to Thailand back in 2015 to attend a K-Pop concert. However, a fellow Filipino fan also introduced her to Thailand and its culture, and she fell in love immediately. 

The first place they went to was the Siam area where it’s her favorite place to hang out with her local friends.

Siam is an old name they used to refer to as Thailand.

Her first introduction to BL Series was in 2013 through the Thai teen drama, Hormones the Series.

You’ll fall in love with their beverages that are only available in Siam Station.

Their beverages are authentic Thai street drinks, which ingredients are from Thailand. 

They served Ovaltine Phu Kao Fhai (Ovaltine Volcano), Cha Yen (Thai Iced Tea), and their top-selling item Nom Yen (Pink Milk), which any BL supporters would recognize as P’Arthit’s favorite beverage in the SOTUS Series.

Local Thai snacks are also available here in Siam Station

You must try Siam Station’s Bento snacks which include the famous Thai squid and fish strips perfectly paired with their Nom Yen.

Thai chips and beverages and Ok instant noodles with the image of several Thai celebrities on the packaging are also gaining popularity nowadays.

Siam Station offers not only Thai street beverages and Thai products, but aside from the food, the atmosphere of the place is also noticeable as it is full of merchandise from your several BL series.

They have a massive collection of BL Series merchandise of CDs, DVDs, and photo cards. Shirts that BL fans will surely make their fanboy and fangirl’s hearts happy. 

You can buy signed Photo Books containing unforgettable scenes and never seen photos of the series, which include posters. 

Kazz magazine, a monthly Thai fashion and lifestyle magazine that can be hardly seen around the Philippines are also available in the Café.

You don’t need to worry if you cannot visit in person and buy all the stuff.

Siam station ships its merchandise nationwide through LBC and transactions can be paid through Cash on Delivery. 

They can be delivered to your house wherever you’re from.
