Pampanga’s provincial team, The Pampanga Delta defeated the Consolacion Sarok Weavers with the final score of 76-71 last September 5 in the Pilipinas Super League (PSL) 21-Under championship held in Cebu City, Philippines.
Meanwhile, Justine Bautista was hailed as the Pilipinas Super League 21-Under National Finals Super MVP finishing the game with 15 points, 8 rebounds, 3 assists, and 2 steals in the championships.
The Pampanga Delta was also awarded the Best Coach Award besides being the overall champion of the PSL21-U.
On his Official Facebook page, Governor Dennis “Delta” Pineda acknowledged the Kapampangan netizens who supported the Pampanga Delta and those who personally traveled to watch the championship game in Cebu City.
“Maraming salamat po sa mga Kapampangan na nagdasal o nagpunta sa Cebu City para manood ng laban. Maraming salamat po sa mga minamahal kong Kapampangan,” Pineda commented.
