It is expected that at least 60 Indigenous Aeta children will benefit from the newly built daycare center handed over by the Hann Philippines, a Korean-led high-end integrated lifestyle resort to the village council of the village of Nabuclod at the upland area of the municipality of Floridablanca, Pampanga.
Nabuclod was only one of the two areas in Floridablanca, where most indigenous Aeta people are living.
The old daycare center in Floridablanca was wrecked by the magnitude 6 earthquake that occurred in 2019.
The Korean-led Resort Firm handed the new daycare center to the Aeta Children last September 30, 2022. Agnes Liwanag, Hann Philippines executive vice president for corporate planning, development, and communications, acknowledged and mentioned the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corp. and Philippine Air Force for contributing to building and ensuring the construction of the P1-million daycare center.
Hann Philippines, one of the largest Korean-led companies operates Widus, Clark Marriott, and Swissotel in Clark Freeport. Throughout the years, it has been extending aid and help to local communities through its corporate social responsibility programs.
