Last September 14, during simple ceremonies, the provincial Capitol of Pampanga handed barangay service vehicles to 95 barangay (village) chiefs of the province of Pampanga.
The barangay chiefs who received service vehicles conveyed their thankfulness to Governor Dennis “Delta” Pineda, who commanded the distribution of the service vehicles that cost P1,229,800 each.
Not to mention, Palo was among the numerous individuals who particularly acknowledged and thanked Governor Dennis “Delta” Pineda after the ceremonial handover of the key of the service vehicles to the 95 villages chiefs, which happened at Bren Z Guiao Convention Center in the City of San Fernando, Pampanga.
Resonating the opinions of the other chiefs, Solis stated that these service vehicles would be an important contribution in carrying villagers from the mountainous part to the lowlands during an emergency and some unexpected circumstances.
Some recipients of the service vehicles from remote territories of the town of Masantol also expressed their appreciation to Governor Delta Pineda.
Correspondingly, Edwin Viray from Barangay Sta. Lucia Matua located in Masantol town; said that the service vehicles given to them would be helpful to the constituent of Barangay Sta. Lucia Matua for free at any time they need to visit or bring their families to hospitals due to an illness.
Together with Barangay Uwak and Sta Lucia were among the 2nd batch of beneficiaries of the services vehicles. Governor Delta previously handed 100 service vans, meanwhile, there are still 310 more vehicles that are expected to be granted.
Vice Governor Nanay Pineda and the Sangguniang Panlalawigan permitted Governor Delta’s request to help with the transportation needs of the barangays.
The village chiefs were reminded by Governor Delta Pineda to take great attention and care of the service vehicles and do their mandates for the service of the Kapampangan people.
Purely for public service,” he reminded the barangay captains.
As of yet, the Provincial Capitol has already allotted a total of 195 units and is set to turn over another 100 units of service vehicles before the year ends.
