24 Chicken took Manila into the craze for their delicious and affordable chicken.
The inspiration behind the 24 Chicken started when a DLSU alumnus founded by Mark Gerald Ong and business partners Jeff Sy and Jefferson Uy were on a holiday trip to South Korea.
They were enticed by South Korea’s chicken, which was perfectly seasoned with a crunchy, delicious yet affordable chicken. They first opened a small stall alongside Leon Guinto Street, which is in Malate, Manila in 2017.
They planned to open 24/7 thus, the name 24 Chicken came from. However, due to the effects of the pandemic, they weren’t able to sustain the demand for chicken. Although, they didn’t continue what they initially planned. Still, they retain the name of their business- 24 Chicken.
Despite starting as a small Chicken store back in 2017. Today, 24 Chicken already has 24 other branches in the whole Philippines.
