₱ 25-million Academic Building at DHVSU Apalit launched in public

Last Wednesday, August 24, the ₱ 25-million Academic Building 1 of the Don Honorio Ventura State University (DHVSU) Apalit Campus was instituted. 

The ₱ 25-million   Academic Building 1 of the DHVTSU Apalit Campus is a 3-story building consisting of 12 classroom buildings and a computer and kitchen laboratory. Governor Dennis “Delta” Pineda spearheaded the launching and blessing of the DHVSU Apalit Campus. 

As per Governor Delta Pineda, the local authority granted the resources for the construction of the school on a 1.2-hectare lot located in Barangay Sampaloc given by Apalit Mayor Oscar “Jun” Tetangco, Jr. and his beloved wife Jennifer. 

“Malaking bagay po ito para sa ating mga Cabalen, lalo na rito sa forth district. Hindi na nila kailangan pang lumayo para makapag-aral, mismong ang DHVSU na ang inilapit natin sa kanila,” stated by Governor Delta.

He also mentioned that the AnaKalusugan Partylist has already pledged ₱ 20 million to develop the Administrative Building.

The DHVSU Apalit Campus now has 1,522 students signed up in four programs: Bachelor of Science in Information Technology; Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management; Bachelor of Elementary Education; and Bachelor of Science in Business Administration major in Marketing.

On the other hand, according to the local government, Mayor Tetangco of Apalit will contribute ₱4 million every year to cover the personnel and administrative expenditure of DHVSU Apalit Campus. 

Furthermore, he revealed that Academic Building 2 at the moment is 84% in completion, whereas the gymnasium worth ₱ 10 million is still in progress. 

“Sabi nga ni DHVSU President, Dr. Enrique Baking, kapag natapos ‘tong mga building na ‘to, kahit limang libong estudyante, kaya nating i-accommodate dito,” stated by Mayor Tetangco, adding that more school courses will be accessible in the campus in around two years.

In the meantime, Baking extended his appreciation to Governor Delta, Mayor Tetangco, and other government representatives who help out making the dream project a reality.

“Reng tau keti king Apalit, I am considering them na pekamaswerti na lang tau. Ing serbisyu na ning eskwela milapit ya karela, uli na ning kasaupan a dela da reng karelang manungkulan, munang muna i Governor Delta, plus of course, Mayor Tetangco. Maragul yang saup karela ini, kasi ala nang sangkan nung bakit ela mangayari keng karelang pamagaral,” said Baking.
