Good news Fernandinos!
The local government of the City of San Fernando, Pampanga announced that the Hemodialysis center located at the City Civic Center in Barangay San Isidro is expected to be open in public throughout the first week of October of 2022.
The Fernandino patients will benefit from the service of the soon-open hemodialysis center after the required permits to operate were guaranteed.
Last September 28, the city government of the City of San Fernando Pampanga with their partner company Luzon Medical System provided some of the medical equipment needed in the hemodialysis center such as dialysis machines, chairs, and more.
The newly elected Mayor Vilma Caluag ordered and prioritized a free hemodialysis program for Fernandinos following the mayor’s assumption of office.
As the Hemodialysis center starts its initial operation, it is expected that it can assist up to 75 patients a day and several 25 dialysis machines and 25 chairs will be utilized.
The hemodialysis center’s ground floor includes treatment, reprocessing, and osmosis system areas while a portion of the second level of the center contains the administrative office, along with the stock, wash, and pantry areas.
The unused area of the second floor will be kept for the center’s expansion which will host supplementary machines and chairs.
Mayor Vilma Caluag also mentioned that the registration of dialysis patients is still ongoing.
The City Health Office informed the patients to bring photocopies of their medical certificate (old or recent), medical prescription, and valid ID or barangay certification/clearance/indigency.
