LocaBomb is a fusion of Mediterranean and Indian Cuisine with a local touch. The dishes that are served were made specifically to be more well-suited and favorable for the locals to enjoy these types of cuisines.
Froilan, Jonas, and Jerome are all cousins and the owners of LocaBomb. They shared how they got the idea of opening a Mediterranean and Indian restaurant here in Pampanga.
They got the idea of serving Kebab while they were staying in Manila. The three cousins used and liked eating Kebab most of their time.
Froilan, who is the most familiar with Mediterranean and Indian Cuisine, came from Dubai. He was the one in charge of making the food and likes to watch YouTube videos on how to cook authentic Indian and Mediterranean food.
Before they started opening LocaBomb, they first started doing online selling as most people do. However, they are only selling Beef Nahari as their product.
Once they started planning to open their restaurant, Froilan started developing the food on the menu and mastering the process of how they were cooked.
They also mentioned how they got the idea of naming their restaurant “LocaBomb.” They got the name ‘LocaBomb’ from the word “Lokal na Bombay” because it came from Mumbai.
As mentioned by them, they decided to take that name for the people to remember the restaurant. Also, to remember the explosive flavors of the spices used in making these cuisines.
What do they serve?
If it’s your very first time eating at Locabomb and you had no idea what to order, you should try LocaBomb’s best seller Kebab Platter.
The Kebab Platter is a whole meal that will make you full. The Kebab Platter consists of 2 pcs of beef kebab, 2pcs of chicken kebab, and 1 whole bone marrow served with Basmati rice. It also includes Pita Bread with tomatoes, and onions dipping it with Garlic & Chili sauce.
If you like Kebab, you can also order the other 3 dishes available such as Beef, chicken, and mixed Kebab.
For their Main Entrée, there are a lot more choices that you can try on their menu. It’s suitable for solo, sharing, and family.
You can choose from Beef or Chicken Dishes. If you prefer chicken, they are serving their famous Chicken Biryani.
Don’t also forget the classic and flavorful Indian dish that is everyone’s favorite. It’s the Butter chicken made from chicken with spiced tomato and butter sauce. It’s a type of curry.
There is also Chicken Tikka Masala, a roasted marinated chicken chunk in mildly spiced curry sauce.
For those who love beef dishes, you might want to try the following dishes.
A specialty that you shouldn’t miss is their Beef Nahari.
Don’t forget they also have Beef Keema, which is a good combination of basmati rice and Pita bread.
If you like a lighter meal, you can have shawarma. You can either have a Shawarma wrap or a Shawarma salad. Both are available in Chicken and Beef.
