Even though Urban Crunch is fairly new in the industry, they proved that their dishes are absolutely head turners compared with the seasoned players in the market who joined the fest. At the event, they chose to present 2 of their best menu: Kare-Kareng Bagnet and Dinakdakan which garnered them a final score of 4.0.

They serve the best Ilocano food in the province and has now branches at Moderno Food Park and The Yard Food Park. For more details, check out their Facebook fan page at

Toll House Toll House

Without a doubt, Toll House is still adored by a lot of Kapampangans. I mean, who doesn’t right? Especially for the Angelenos, this restaurant has become an institution in the city.

At the Taste Fest, they served two of their popular menu, Baked Macaroni and Apple Pie.

Pampanga Taste Fest was indeed the ultimate food trip experience; however, it was organized not only for the enjoyment of the public. According to Gab De Luna, project head organizer, PTF aims to help local entrepreneurs introduce and advertise their food businesses by providing an avenue for them to present their specialties to the public. And aside from being a bridge between local entrepreneurs and fellow Kapampangans, Pampanga Taste Fest is, ultimately, an initiative to reach and help our brothers in the community further. All proceeds from this event go to Alay Skills, a flagship program of JCI Angeles City Culiat that provides free vocational education to the less fortunate citizens of Angeles City. [Exerpt from the Press Release]

Thank you JCI Angeles City Culiat for organizing this noble event. For the rest of the participants who didn’t make the top cut, we hope to see you again next year.

Have you tried any of the 3 restaurants who won in the taste fest? Let us know your experience.
